Blue Spruce (Picea pungens glauca)
One of the favorite  landscape trees,  this evergreen has sweet smelling blue-green needles and grows to 150' in height. It thrives in most climates ,it grows to 150 feet in height and can live up to 300 Years. Grows to Zone 8 and - 50 degrees Fahrenheit at approximately 6-10"/year.

The fir was the first christmas tree with its great height was thought to bring bright vision to the New Year. Douglas Fir grows to 330" high with dark blue-green needles. It is one of the most important  trees for its lumber value .  (seed packets contain 10-15 seeds/packet)

paper birch seed Paper (canoe) Birch(Betula papyrifers bs)
Known for its amazing fall golden color this landscape tree grows best in moist soil. It has tremendous  winter interest for its beauty and grows to 70 feet. The paper birch is easily recognized for its peeling white bark, which actually did find historical use as a paper substitute.  An alternate common name for the tree is canoe birch.  The bark, which can be peeled in large wide strips, was valued for construction of canoes.  Paper birch is a tree of the north woods, very cold tolerant, with most of its range in Canada . ( small seeds-surface sowed- 50 seeds/packet) Grows  in Zones 2-5
